I think there really ought to be more holidays in the summer. I mean, think about it: we’ve got Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas/Hanukkah (and numerous others I probably can’t spell), then Valentine’s Day, and they all happen in colder months. You get candy, and turkey, and eight days of gifts, and chocolate hearts galore! What do we have in the summer? Fourth of July, with fireworks. Meh. Then Labor Day. Wow, the variety is astounding. Worst of all, we don’t get presents in the summer! Well, I say it’s high time we turned that around! Lets have UGG Day! I want a day in the middle of summer to celebrate fleece boots. Partially, because I love irony and irritating the UGG haters. Mostly though, I really want a reason to get excited about UGG Boots when everyone else is dreaming of strappy sandals and bathing suits. We can have a day devoted to dreaming up new styles, or sharing UGG favorites, or simply giving and receiving beautiful UGG Australia footwear! So come on, let’s celebrate UGGs this summer!
