Shanghai Vice Mayor Yang Xiong yesterday met with Deng Wendi, wife of Rupert Murdoch, president of News Corporation in Shanghai Museum.

Yang introduced general information about the World Expo Shanghai. Yang said the Expo is expected to attract 200 participants and 70 million visitors.

The Shanghai Expo will be the global highlight of 2010, said Yang. Organizers hope News Corporation could also help the city with media promotion, he added.
