I was surprised, not only because that she swore, which didn’t fit her image at all, but also because her boss is one of the most easy-going managers in our company. I can hardly imagine that he would give anyone any hard time. I happened to have a say in this matter because I once worked for him for a while. As far as I can remember, I never had any troubles with him. Generally he is a nice guy, a little detail-oriented, but never at the picky level. Once you gave him what he wanted in time, he would be just fine. Besides, there is another thing to convince me of this theory.

Before National day, my colleague asked for a five-day leave, her boss didn’t say yes because the schedule was really tight. Then she made a reckless move—left without approval. You can imagine how furious he was. But when she came back to work, he still gave her second chance. I guess that’s where things start to get worse. Boss doesn’t give forgiveness easily, naturally he would expect something in return—more dedication to the work. However, working hard is really not my colleague’s strong suit.

I am not sure what’s exactly going on between these two. But for whatever reason, I really don’t understand why she did something so —stupid was really the word that sprang to my mind. What’s that for to declare a war with your boss in such a childish way? If she doesn’t want her job, just quit and walk away—no need to increase any more tensions with someone you might never need to deal with. If she wants her job, her new QQ name almost screams this out: I am not professional enough to put differences aside with the person I work with and I am not grown-up enough to carry out a decent conversation. Really, it doesn’t accomplish anything except putting another blotch on her record.

I was home today finally, I breathed deeply. I can’t tell what I’m feeling now, happy or upset or sth, I don’t know. I just came back and I need to have a rest and think over. My life is to be usual again even if how much I love you, Nanjing. Thank you for your presents and your glamor, which I never forget.

I spent two days on traveling in Nanjing city, Jiangsu province and I love it so much, not only for its history but also his people and him. I went there for sth and he, a very good friend, known for me by my friend Jing, guided me to tour some places there.He is gentle and cute just like other good guys there. So I’ve been being into there and him in short three days.

“Leave…” He said to me with a little upset, “Sorry…” I reluctantly answered,”I still have a lot to do so I must leave…” The departure came so fast that I just blinked once or not. More than one thousand kilometers separated us, right? I didn’t glance at you the moment I left because I really can’t live with it.

The topic I would like to discuss today is the old and also controversial one: how to learn foreign language well. Opinions about this topic vary from person to person and I bet that everyone knows the basic theory about how to learn foreign languages well. Firstly he should possess several kinds of tools or characters before he starts foreign languages learning, for example interests, perseverance and sufficient learning materials, secondly he should also prepare physically and psychologically not only for the occasional disparage from others but also for the constant frustrations from language study…… However, grasping the theory is totally different from learning things down from earth. A famous quotation goes like this: actions speak louder than words. So from where I stand, I insist that much attention must be paid to the combination between theories and actions, only keep a good habit of language practice can our language learning be more efficient and effective.

So how to put our thoughts and theories into practice constitutes the most important part in our language learning. Simply speaking, to guarantee learning effects we just need to do three things. At first, we should go and look for a good and proper study partner who is very strict with his or her study.

Secondly, making a strict and detailed plan every month for our study, including specific tasks we have to finish in due time everyday and we also need to spend at least 5 minutes per day to check whether we have done tasks right and effectively, then directly and mutually point out our partners` weaknesses and strengths and write these information down on the paper, meanwhile think out feasible ways to overcome our weaknesses and build up our learning confidence.

Just as I thought, Liu Xiang ignited a sold-out Olympic sports center with victory in the men’s 110m hurdles finals at the 11th Chinese National Games here on Sunday. He exploded out of the starting blocks and fit the line first with the last-gasp burst in 13.34 seconds, which made me feel that the Champion is coming back.

As all known, Liu limped out of the Bird’s Nest last year at the Beijing Olympics due to the foot injury, which made almost supports be shocked and heartbroken. But many supporters and I still supported him and trusted that he would return, becuase he always is the Champion in all supporters’ hearts forever. Afer all he is the first Chinese male athlete to win an Olympic track gold, which could make all Chinese to be pride in the world. This is a kind of important spirits ,called as “breakout”, that everybody should learn and develop.

Though the record of 13.34 seconds is far off his former world record and personal best of 12.88 seconds, the result was enough for Liu, the 2007 world champion, to win the title. It is another good beginning for Liu. “After I accepted the surgery, I was in doubt of myself and cannot see my future. But with one match after another, I gradually recovered. I believed in myself.” said Liu after the race. Anyway, I feel strongly that the Champion is coming back, just like the film of the Return of The King. Now I am a little emotional agitation and excitement. All in all, I will continue to support Liu Xiang ,whatever will happen to him.
